Aims

Aims: The main aim of this association is as follows:

To fulfill the demand of hand spunned of woolen yarn of carpet exporting industry of Nepal for the purpose of manufacturing carpet of unique look and Nepalese handicraft's fundamental Identity of pure handicraft for world market.
To bring together all the scattered Woolen Yarn Spinning industries and promote organized efforts for the betterment of the woolen yarn industry.
To maintain and ensure a sustained supply of raw materials for the benefit of carpet industries.
To stabilize the market price and quality of raw wool used in carpet.
To promote relationship and co-operation with other organizations having similar objective.
To organize trade fairs, exhibitions, seminars, and related programs in order to develop the industry. To train manpower and bring new technologies for the improvement in the woolen yarn industry field.
Others to maintain the originality of Nepalese carpet as 100 percent handicraft.
To provide the regular employment to the rural unemployed people.
To produce the quality woolen yarn by tender care of individual hand by maintaining the length of woolen fiber to maximum length.
To raise the issue of case of machine spunned woolen yarn and recycled woolen yarn in the carpet manufacturing to concerned INGOS, Business organization and Government agencies responsible.
To maintain the 100% handcraft image of Nepalese carpet exported to the world market.
To provide training of hand spinning of woolen yarn to landless people, freed bonded labour of landless rural unemployed people of remote part of Nepal where alterative source of employment is not available to help to sustain their livehood.
To distribute the financial benefit of carpet export to low income group of people by involving them in the process of carpet manufacturing by providing employment in hand spinning of woolen yarn sector.
